The goal of this project was to estimate as accurately as possible, the total surface momentum, energy and mass budgets over the tropical and subtropical Atlantic Ocean, and to determine uncertainties. It was a collaborative effort that included University of Maryland, University of Miami, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, and French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea (IFREMER).
